Photography Workshop

This is a one and a half day workshop beginning the evening of Friday September 4th and spanning through the evening of Saturday September 5th. We will be providing drinks and snacks throughout and lunch on Saturday. This workshop will take someone from not knowing how to turn on a camera to being able to go out and comfortably and confidently photograph in manual mode. We will be covering all of the basics to get you started on your photography journey whether you want to start a business or you just want to be able to take photos as a hobby.

Here are some of the topics we will be covering:
-The basics of a camera and why you should shoot in manual
-ISO
-Shutter Speed
-Aperture
-Lighting
-Location
-White Balance
-Editing (very basics)

And we will be ending our workshop with a shoot for you to practice! (you can use these photos for your portfolio)

Deposit of $249 is due to sign up, and then another payment of $249 is due on September 3rd. *Please note that I am allowing limited attendance, so I will be cutting it off as soon as we hit our max. It's first come, first serve as far as who signs up and pays their deposit first. We want this to be an intimate workshop setting where we can help our students as much as needed, which means keeping it a small group.

You should have a dslr camera to attend. We have a couple we can lend out at the workshop, but we'd rather you be learning on your own camera and be able to continue practicing after the workshop is over. If you're not sure where to start, we recommend canon rebels as a starter camera (it's what we used our first year), and you can get a used one on marketplace or ebay for between $200 and $300. Feel free to message us if you have a camera already, but you're not sure if it's dslr, or if you need help picking the right camera to buy.
